Trisec was founded because too many UK businesses were getting burned by agencies that overpromised, under-delivered, and hid behind account managers. We're a senior-led studio that believes in real technical work, direct relationships, and outcomes that last longer than launch-day champagne.
Our Story
Do the work properly, or don’t do it at all.
Founded in 2019 in Rugby, UK, Trisec started with a single principle. No templates passed off as custom. No juniors handed the keys after a handshake. No account managers as a translation layer between the client and the developer doing the work.
Over 150 projects later, that principle hasn’t changed. But our capability has. In 2026, we integrated AI-powered workflows across every service line, not as a cost-cutting measure, but as a force multiplier. Senior developers using AI tools deliver more iterations, faster timelines, and consistent code quality.
We work exclusively with UK businesses. We never outsource. We build everything in-house, by the same team you speak to on the phone.

Meet the Founder
Tristan (Tris)
Tristan founded Trisec in 2019 with a background that’s unusual for a web development studio founder. He trained as a mechanical and process safety engineer, in an industry where the cost of a poorly-engineered system isn’t a bug report or a chargeback. It’s a gas explosion.
That training shapes how Trisec operates. Structured delivery over creative improvisation. Systematic QA over “it works on my machine.” Architectures built for what happens when things go wrong, not optimised purely for the ideal path.
He leads every client engagement hands-on, personally reviews technical proposals, and maintains deep working knowledge across WordPress, Shopify, and custom web application development. In 2026, he integrated AI-powered workflows across the studio, not because it was fashionable, but because it made the work demonstrably better and faster.
Meet the Co-Founder
Shahbaz (Shaaz)
Shaaz joined Trisec as Technical Team Lead with a background that spans continents. A qualified software engineer with over nine years of international experience, he has built and shipped for clients across the UK, USA and the MENA region, and learned early that good engineering travels, but assumptions don’t.
That experience shapes how he leads the technical team. Code written to be read by the next engineer, not just the compiler. Systems designed to scale before they need to. Growth is a configuration change, not a rewrite. The discipline to choose boring, proven technology over whatever is trending this quarter.
He has taken small web applications and grown them to mid-size and enterprise level using modern web technologies, and has helped countless offline businesses become widely available online. On every Trisec project he sets the engineering standards, reviews the architecture, and stays hands-on in the code that matters most.
What he cares about most is longevity: builds that are still fast, secure and maintainable years after launch, long after the launch-day excitement has faded.
