The challenge
A US shipping company needed to give its shippers a simple, self-service platform to do the two things that matter most: get a price and know where their freight is. The brief was deliberately lean — an MVP focused on core tracking and quoting, pulling live data from carriers rather than reinventing it.
What we did
Shipper accounts & teams
Self-registration with email validation, plus staff management so a shipper's team can access tracking, quotes and history.
Real-time tracking
Track a shipment by ID to see current location, ETA and status, with live updates via the Terminal49 API.
Bulk shipments
Import shipping data from a spreadsheet and track every row against its own ID.
Instant quotes
Generate estimated cost, delivery time and shipping options from origin, destination, weight and dimensions.
Super-admin dashboard
Manage shippers, view logs, update shipments and quotes, and export data.
